Software - This is what I do, so this section will be updated most frequently. I have published several software projects here that Ive created over the years. My favorite is still STEW-Q!, a time-saving web portal intended to be used as a browser start page. I have also now added information about some open source Java projects that Ive worked on.
The Arts - This section contains the most linked to page on my site, the multimedia Buddhist art gallery, containing pictures of sculptures and paintings as well as audio files of Buddhist chanting, all with didactic text accompaniment. This section of my site also contains an illustrated copy of Platos Allegory of the Cave.
Psychology - The psychology section of my site contains a research study I conducted for my psychology thesis at Duke University entitled Effects of a Mindfulness Meditation-Based Intervention on Pain Perception, Daily Hassles, Mood, and Psychological Distress. Youll also find two software programs here, the Meyers-Briggs Personality Test and a neural network pattern recognition demonstration.
Philosophy - In this section, youll find several academic papers on philosophy and religion. The first is a thesis I wrote at Duke University investigating the philosophical foundations of the Tantric practices of Tibetan Buddhism as well as the objections to them which have been raised by other Buddhist schools. Youll also find an exegesis of an ancient and pivotal Buddhist writing by Nagarjuna entitled The Fundamental Wisdom of the Middle Way and an illustrated copy of Platos Allegory of the Cave.
